Global travel and accessibility

At Skyscanner, we believe travel should be for everyone. But the reality is that for people with accessibility needs, searching and booking travel online isn't as simple as it could be.

Let’s change that.

Making headway

We started this journey a few years ago. We've a long way to go, but we’re making headway. Here, we’re sharing how we kicked off our accessibility programme, our learnings, guides, frameworks, and more.

Whatever your role in your business is, you have a part to play. Together, we can make travel more accessible for all.

One of our initiatives

Here’s a little insight into one of our initiatives – Empathy Labs. These have helped us engage colleagues throughout our organisation and get them on board with creating more accessible products and ultimately a more accessible travel industry.

Our accessibility vision

To make Skyscanner a flagship of disability inclusion, our products accessible to all, and travel easier for people with disabilities.

Our accessibility journey

We kicked off our Accessibility programme in early 2020 and we’ve learnt a lot since then. Mainly that embedding accessibility into your business takes time, so starting as soon as possible is key. We’re here to help.

Our business case

There are so many reasons why accessibility makes sense to your business – commercially, legally and morally. Our most compelling reason is that we’re dedicated to inclusion, making accessibility absolutely the right thing to do.
